What do I do if I forget to apply for a permit?

You should apply for a permit as soon as possible. If you park on Talbot or Lansdowne campus without a permit after 1st of November, you will receive a Parking Charge Notice (PCN).

What should I do if I receive a Parking Charge Notice (PCN) but believe it was issued in error?

If you believe a PCN was issued in error, you can appeal through the official PCN appeals process as outlined on the car parking signage notice in the car park you have used. Please note that BU and Hozah do not handle PCN disputes.

Will my annual permit automatically renew at the end of the year?

No, permits do not automatically renew. You will need to reapply for a new permit 1 year from when you made the original application through the BU Parking Membership portal [link].
